Shower Smart Illustration

  1. The eaga ShowerSmart is a small device (approx 5cm high and 2cm wide), which can be fitted to non-electric mixer showers or bath/shower mixer taps.
  2. It is fitted in between the existing shower hose and the tap/mixer end.
  3. It contains patented technology which acts as a pressure independent flow regulator.
  4. The eaga ShowerSmart regulates the flow of a shower to a set output (7.8 litres per minute-the equivalent of a powerful electric shower) no matter what the input flow rate/pressure is.
  5. This saves both water and the associated energy with heating hot water.
  6. The average family of 4 would save about £30* off their gas bills and over £30* off their water bills (where metered) per year, which could equate to £900* over its lifetime.
  7. A 2-person household could save about £20** on their gas bills and £20** on their water bills (where metered) per year, which could equate to £600** over the product’s lifetime.
  8. 1 eaga ShowerSmart will typically save more than 1 tonne of C02 over its lifetime.
  9. It has a 15 year manufactuer's guarantee.
  10. Requires simple self-installation - no plumber required.
  11. The eaga ShowerSmart is manufactured in the Netherlands and is Kiwa and the Water Regulations Advisory Service (WRAS) certified. Kiwa is an independent quality assurance organisation
* Based on a £20 per year saving on gas and metered water bills for a 2 person household, as substantiated by the Building Research Establishment, and factored up for the average 4 person household = up to £30/year saving on both fuel and metered water bills. Over the product’s lifetime of 15 years = a potential £60 a year saving x 15 years = £900 possible saving.
** Source: The Building Research Establishment. A £20 per year saving on both gas and metered water bills = £40 saving/year for a 2 person household. Factored up over the lifetime of the product of 15 years, this is a potential saving of £40 x 15 = £600.
