As suppliers of Assistive Technology for over 13 years, our aim here at Enabling Computers is to supply the most appropriate and cost effective technology-based solutions for people of all ages with learning, physical and/or visual impairment.
We use a wide variety of technologies, primarily computer based, with additional ergonomic products as required, which are then integrated and configured into a full system designed to meet the specific needs of our customers.
Expert training, taking full account of the user’s abilities, is then provided in the use of the customer’s system and specialist software or devices to realise the maximum benefits to our customers.
Our helpful and well-qualified Technical Support Team is on hand to ensure that customers warranties are handled both correctly and in a timely manner. There is a freephone technical support facility (by either traditional phone or using Skype), and remote diagnostics are used to minimise disruption.
We are able to:
- Advise on and supply well over 200 mainstream and specialist products including software licensing for medium and large organisations.
- Arrange Demonstrations and Awareness Sessions*. We do not do Needs Assessments as such, but we can arrange for these to be carried out by suitably qualified practitioners.
- Provide training on all items supplied, either on an individual, family or work group basis to satisfy CPD requirements. Trainers are fully CRB checked.
- Offer long-term on-site and return-to-base technical support; including where possible the recovery and re-installation of customer’s data and programs.
*These Sessions can take place at home, school or the office, wherever is preferred.
