The Panther GTS kit has been designed to accept a single Sierra donor vehicle, and the range of GTS components.
The Panther GTS kit is an update to the ever popular Locost design detailed in Ron Champions “Build your own sports car” book. Due to the difficulty of obtaining Ford Escort Mk2 donors GTS Tuning have revised the book specification to suit the Sierra as a donor. The chassis and suspension have been re-specified by Formula One design engineer and GTS proprietor Darren George to over come the donor parts issue and also make completing the SVA test easier.
The chassis design is available as a set of plans to keep with the original theme of the Locost or as part of our comprehensive kit.
