The most popular way our customers begin building the W7DE. This kit basically provides the neccessary components, that along with the donor Sierra, will build a rolling chassis with bodywork.
The W7DE kit has been designed to accept a single Sierra donor vehicle, and the range of GTS components.
The W7DE is a 4" wider version of the Panther car. It was designed to meet the needs of the bigger built and older customer. Its also proved popular as an update to the popular McSorley plans car, with builders using the W7DE parts to complete their builds.
The chassis design is available as a set of plans to keep with the original theme of the Locost or as part of our comprehensive kit.
