The GTS W7DE kit is a wider version of our popular Panther model. Again based on a single Sierra donor. It comes in response to requests from some of our customers for a larger cockpit and room for V8 power.
Another aspect is that in developing the bodywork for this kit, we will be in a position to supply bodywork to suit the McSorley +4 plans, that are proving very popular, but, troublesome with respect to bodywork sources.

Testimonial - Ian Smith, Longfield, Kent
I took delivery in March of my GTS W7DE, I think it is the first of its kind on the road. It replaced my Tiger CAT E1. The aim was to get it as light as possible but with upgraded gearbox, semi slip diff, de dion, all round willwood disks, etc. It is powered by a 230BHP duratec, with Raceline throttle bodies and Webcon alpha ecu etc. The engine tuning proved difficult, ,the great news was Darren has such a good relationship with Raceline, they tuned the Throttle bodies and Webcon themselves undertook the final set up. It got through SVA at second time of asking, only failing the first time due to emission issues. At 540kg, mission accomplished. Well as for driving, it handles like a dream, sticks to the road like glue and the acceleration is eye wateringly fast. Compared to the Tiger, which lets be honest is a cut down sierra with a plastic body kit it is superb. The performance completely meets my expectation and even better, no horrid Q plate straight on an 07!
I am really pleased with the car, it looks great, drives great and frankly its is scary quick, so as it was always intended for the track that is where it has to be properly put through it paces. Darren and Scott at GTS are always on hand to give me some friendly advice and help and coming from Longfield I even helped with the build, although my time and ability in that department is limited. The bits I did are a little obvious! Perfect Timing to not been in the wet yet!. I speced a lot of Carbon Fibre, wings, dash, back shelf etc, for strength and looks, difficult to produce but a fine job at no extra cost too. When I ordered it I new it would be a little while to deliver but the long stop deadline was achieved and I am grateful to GTS for this. I should make it clear that the engine was mine and the tuning issues were the biggest delaying factor thus my own fault. It took a while for Raceline to squeeze me in.
What can I say but a big thanks Darren. The added benefit is that living so close the after sales support I have received has been great. This also means that it is easy to also use as a demonstrator, always happy to help out here via Darren as I would love to see a more on the road so we could have some fun together.
Conclusion, very happy chap, who now also understands that the whole kit car industry is made up of enthusiastic optimists, having helped Darren procure bits and bobs, if it isn't in stock do not expect it quickly as the kit car does not operate the same ‘just in time’ principals as the mass market!
One final bonus – I have a new mate in Darren – cheers.
