by Eithne Farry
A beautifully designed, fun and inspiring guide to home sewing: including dressmaking, bag-making and generally messing around with bits of material.
Yeah, I Made It Myself is all about DIY fashion, aimed at women who are passionate about clothes, who would love to create something of their own, but don't know how to begin. Farry makes most of her own clothes, her basic premise being 'If I can do it, anyone can'. Her ideas are accessible and adaptable and, above all, inspiring. From accessories to dresses, and from crocheted hats to knitted capes, it's all about experimenting with ideas and laughing if it all goes a bit lopsided. Practical, but with pom-poms, this is dressmaking for dummies.
