Ever wanted to get out on an empty racing circuit, no crowds, no pressure, just you and a guide passing helpful advice?
Perhaps your an experienced fast road driver and just want to get a feel for the differences of track driving?
Did you know that most experienced UK road drivers who have never driven on track tend to stick the the left side of the track the whole time? Sounds small, but this translates to a big difference, and it's those little things that we can help point out to get you going round safely and quickly.
Well Mazda on Track is proud to be able to offer this service. Never has there been a better way to get out on a race track on your own and learn the basic's in complete safety.

What happens at a 'Welcome to Track' day?
Once your signed in, you will spend a short time in an informal basic briefing, going over the principals of what track driving is, how it differs to road driving, and a chance for a cup of tea.
Then you will go over one of our specially tuned school cars, and quickly cover what modifications have been made, and why they've been made.
After that, it's time to get out on the slalom course. Starting off slowly and picking up speed, you will learn car body control, steering and some basic braking. Eventually, you will be flying through!
Then it's time to get out on track.
We will take a lap time, and then see how you improve throughout the day! You will take several runs round the track, and you will get guidance from our instructors on how you might improve, and you can even review footage from the in car cameras on everything from steering wheel technique to line and car placement.
By the end of the day, you should be ready to hit the track! Some people enjoy it so much, they book again!
Can I use my own car?
Of course, but you might prefer to use our specially tuned school cars!
Please note, not all cars may be present on the day, and you may not get a choice as to which car you do the day in.
Where is the event held?
Curborough Sprint Track is a charming circuit with lots of hidden depths. It is situated off the A38 trunk road between Burton on Trent and Lichfield in Staffordshire. The venue is Brown Signed once you are off the A38, and also the A515 from the West. The location can be found Google Maps here: Google Map of Curborough Sprint Track
